Collective Worship Council

Our vision is to see everyone at St.Mary’s feeling cared for and valued, as children created in the image of God. Through our various styles of Collective Worship, we want everyone to learn and live out our school Christian values so that they can be the best they can possibly be and make our school a place where children feel safe and secure knowing God loves them and that the adults around them are there, along with the Holy Spirit, to help them thrive.

We hope to inspire our school to look after the environment that God has blessed us with. We want to make sure that no-one is left out or feels lonely during break-times and lunchtimes. As Jesus taught us to love one another, we want to encourage children to form new friendships, help each other when they are in trouble and be a listening ear to those who are sad.

As a team, we will ensure that every child and adult at school will be prayed for and will know the value of prayer to help them feel close to God and feel at peace in themselves. We aspire to help the needy in our local community by raising money for charities or helping organise food donations to the less fortunate. We will strive to bring the Light and Hope of Jesus to everyone who is in hopelessness or darkness, whether at our school, homes or local community.
